Information about your computer

Each time you access the online offer, we collect the following information about your computer: the IP address of your computer, the request from your browser and the time of this request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred are recorded as part of this request. We also collect product and version information about the browser and operating system used by the computer. We also record the website from which the online offer was accessed. The IP address of your computer will only be stored for the duration of the use of the online offer and will then be deleted or anonymized by abbreviation. The remaining data will be stored for a limited period of time. We use this data for the operation of the online offering, in particular to detect and eliminate errors, to determine the utilization of the online offer and to make adjustments or improvements. Personal data

Automated decision-making on the basis of your personal data does not take place in connection with the use of our online services.

Processing of personal information

We store your data on specially protected servers within the European Union. These are protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Access to your data is only possible for a few, authorized persons. They are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the website. For our online offering, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.

We are of the opinion that, due to the protective measures taken (anonymization and possibility of objection), data processing for the purpose of optimizing our online offer is considered to be a legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.


We may offer the possibility to share individual content with third parties in our online offering. When the corresponding function is called, a new window opens in which all the necessary information for sharing the content must be entered. This window is no longer part of our online offering, but is provided by the provider of the social media pages where the content is to be shared or another provider. As a matter of principle, we always delete or block your personal data when the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. What information do we collect and for what purpose?

E-mail addresses

If you provide us with your email address, we will communicate with you via email. We will not share your email address with third parties outside of HO2. If you no longer wish to receive e-mails from us, you can let us know at any time. When you send an e-mail to us, personal data may be automatically transmitted, depending on the settings of your e-mail program. We will also keep them confidential. If you register for third-party services outside of HO2, it may be necessary to provide portions of our registration information to the relevant service provider, such as your email address. However, this will only be done if this is necessary as part of the service you have requested.

Orders and registration for events

If our online offer contains order and registration forms that you can fill out to request information, products and services, please note the following. Financial data transmitted to us in this way will only be used by us for invoicing and payment processing for this particular transaction. Use of personal data in the case of a job application

All personal data from your application and any attachments you provide in your application will be collected, processed and used by us and our affiliates only for the purpose of the applicant selection process and for internal statistics. Saving your application

If you have applied for an advertised position, the documents will be deleted three months after the end of the recruitment process, unless there are other legitimate interests to the contrary. The use of contact details published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited.
