Imagine if the daily flood of invoices and delivery notes could be processed automatically, quickly and error-free. With HO2, this vision becomes reality. Our customers were faced with the problem that manually entering and comparing documents with master data was time-consuming and error-prone. Our solution? An innovative approach that uses generative AI and the development of a UI5 app to automate and optimize this process to avoid the following scenario:

Agile design meets advanced technology

We started by creating a mockup in SAP Build Classic, which we refined in an agile process over several iterations. The development of a UI5 app and its execution on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) system, combined with the use of Generative AI and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), formed the backbone of our solution.

Step-by-step implementation for maximum efficiency

  1. Analysis of documents: A thorough examination of the documents to be processed helped us to precisely define the requirements.
  2. Technology Evaluation: The suitability of SAP Document Information Extraction and other AI tools has been carefully evaluated to ensure that we are using the most powerful tools.
  3. Data Modeling and Interfaces: We identified the required data models and interfaces to ensure smooth integration and data processing.
  4. Human Review: Despite the high level of automation, we deliberately planned for opportunities for human intervention to ensure the quality and accuracy of data extraction.
