• API services in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub and OData services of custom CDS views can be consumed by side-by-side extensions in SAP BTP.

A side-by-side app is a separate app that accesses services of the “template app” or its replicated data in another database. It can be changed regardless of release cycles.
